The Objects of the
Federation shall be among others :
- To unite Unions, Associations, Federations and Co-ordination
Committees of State Government employees and teachers with a view to:
- Co-ordinating and furthering their activities to promote
and safeguard their interests.
- To ensure their social and economic justice and
- To help them improve their methods and means of actions.
- To promote co-operation and mutual assistance among the affiliated
organisations.
- To federate and co-ordinate with organisations of workers and
employees having kindred objects.
- To federate and co-ordinate with International Trade Unions of
workers and employees having similar objectives.
- To ensure the universal recognition and application of –
- The trade union right of Government employees to form and join
service organisations for the defence of their rights and interests and to choose freely
the office-bearers and spokesmen of their organisations.
- The right of member-organisations of Government employees to
participate in the establishment of better working conditions of their members by means of
free negotiation and other rightful actions.
- To recommend improvement in administrative efficiency.
- To promote international brotherhood, democracy and world peace.
